The SMS verification function is used to provide additional security for the members of a community in addition to email verification. When this function is activated, the users of the community must carry out SMS verification in order to gain full access to the functions of the app. If this setting is turned off, users will automatically have full access to the app and will not be required to do so.
To turn SMS verification on or off in your community, you need to go to the settings of your community.
On the desktop platform, you can either click on Settings in the left menu bar or on the three dots that are always to the right of your community.
Select the item "Advanced". Then you can use the slider to determine whether you want to have SMS verification activated or not.
